-A drug has been organically created that has been shown to destroy all known diseases. However it rapidly mutates into a virus with a one month incubation period. The story is set a year after the outbreak.

-Remnants of the attempts to control this rampaging virus can be seen everywhere with quarantine zones dotted worldwide. Rioting began with people afflicted by the virus destroying the CDC.

-The virus takes at most a month to kill the afflicted. Symptoms are coughing, nausea, vomiting and dizziness.

-The virus is still present and many areas that are infected are completely blocked off.

Taylor Randell

*History: *She went to university and got a degree in logistics. One year into the job she and another manager of another warehouse fell in love and got married. She had been working at the warehouse for 3 years when the outbreak occurred. Due to generally never being sick she didn’t take the drug enough to get infected. On the other hand her husband had taken it frequently for his diabetes and died from the disease. Distraught she took a ship away from the country hoping that she could go to another country that wasn’t infected. However at the end of the boat ride she soon found it was also infected and she was completely stranded.

*Hobbies: *Reading, logic puzzles like sudoku or a rubik’s cube

Overall Goals: To escape to somewhere that isn’t infected and lead a normal life.

*Flaws: *Shy, doesn’t enjoy being social. Struggles emotionally with the memory of her dead husband. Can at times seem remorseless and robotic.

*Briggs-Myers personality type: *ISTJ: Reserved. Hardworking and trustworthy with sound practical judgment.

*What would this character do with a gun in their hands and the antagonist incapacitated?: *Immediately shoot them without hesitation.

What does the character do if they have a large cut?: Pour alchohol directly onto the wound and hastily bandage it up.

*The character is stuck at a party where they don’t know anyone, what do they do?: *Attempt to remain unnoticed and find somewhere quiet.

*Someone drops their wallet accidently in front of the main character, what do they do?: *Ignore it.

*The character is trapped in a room with a bomb about to go off, what do they do?: *Sit facing towards the bomb watching the timer calmly.

John Haggis

*History: *Was at a meeting overseas when the apocalypse came. The borders were closed before he could get back and his wife and kid are now separated from him.

*Hobbies: *Assembling and using guns. Hunting.

Overall Goals: Get back with his wife and kid and open up a small boat shack.

*Flaws: *Gets too cocky often when he thinks he is on top of everything.

[Story:]{.underline}

-Begin with Taylor scavenging. She encounters someone else who wants a tin of beans as well and draws a gun on him. She takes out her gun and they have a stand-off. The man slowly backs away and leaves. She walks over to the beans pulling the trigger on her empty gun and opens the beans up.

-She goes back to a warehouse where she stays. A guy comes in and starts scavenging. She nervously points her gun at the man and tells him to get away. He says he knows the gun’s empty and continues scavenging. She fumbles for her knife and walks to the guy. He turns around pointing a fully loaded gun at her.
