THEREFORE he quits his job and heads to the DUMP-1 Transfer Station to look for a former buddy who could decrypt the contents

BUT the station gets put into lockdown in response to the crisis

THEREFORE, Devin enlists the help of a smuggler who assures Devin they can get through the blockade

BUT when they escape the station guards chase after them

HOWEVER, this is seen as a provocative move by TCA and they back down

THEREFORE they escape to the Union Directory

They arrive at Buddy’s place

BUT he’s not there anymore

THEREFORE Billie decides to perform a search for him at a nearby public directory for what might have happened to him

BUT she discovers that he disappeared eight years ago on fraud charges, presumed dead,

BUT Devin thinks about the booze that had disappeared as well and knows where he has gone

THEREFORE, he heads to the Freighter Holiday Bar and Inn and busts into the backroom finding Buddy

BUT Buddy can’t decrypt shit until he has
