Damned
“We are wicked sinners who are all to go to hell,” We said to the cult leader. I know we shouldn’t say that about Rayzar Almek the Third but it is true. Agent John and I are trying to take this guy down, and what better way than by being on his side.
Eighty years passed since I said that and my god, meaning Rayzar Almek the Third, was I wrong. There hadn’t been a peep of illegal activity, not a single one. In fact, everything he had been doing was more squeaky clean than most of the stuff our police department was. He donated to charity, and not just money too, but he donated labour and time. I knew within a few weeks that I had to quit the force and side with him. There was that mysterious door…but that’s none of my concern. Rayzar Almek the Third knew best.
My last job as a cult member, and what a weird job it was. It was finally time to take the plunge and see what was behind the door. As a cop it was the first thing I checked, I bashed and bashed and eventually broke through, whereupon I discovered a janitor’s closet. Not exactly a great find, and Rayzar Almek the Third was quite upset with me after that, but he never hit me more than twice I wanna make that VERY clear. Us elderly chaps were lined up in front of the door. For my service I was first in line to go through.
